I decided to drop a car at the end at Apex Park trailhead and be dropped off at the beginning and Vancouver Park at Golden. The trail is demanding and steep, but you’ll be rewarded with amazing views of downtown Denver and The 1. Parking in Golden is free and can be found off 11th Street next to the Clear Creek History Park in the dirt lot (during summer) or off of 10th Street in the CoorsTek parking lot (on the weekends).
